Tech Law Blog
With over a decade of experience in high technology, I realized that the typical intellectual property ("IP") product such as a patent application is out of the reach of most individuals. There is opacity between clients and lawyers and this leads to a skewed pricing structure. All too often lawyers rarely communicate to clients throughout the IP product creation stage, resulting in a final product that fails to reach the goal sought by the inventor / client. In typical cases, the product is an expensive one despite not being suited to the clients needs.
For this reason I decided to utilize a completely different IP creation pattern that focuses on technology driven communication and transparent creation patterns. When I take on a project not only do I work to craft the application according to the client's specifications, there are technology driven updates to ensure that the project is aligning properly with the client's goals. The end result is the right product, delivered on time, and on budget. This is possible only by the use of technology.
